Alex Pettyfer Tests for ’50 Shades of Grey’…In A Sex Scene

Ever since she read author EL James '50 Shades of Grey' trilogy, Erin has obsessed over which actor will grab the lead of kinky (to say the least) protagonist Christian Grey.

Well, here's the latest news: It seems that 'Magic Mike' co-star Alex Pettyfer has tested for the role for director Gus Van Sant, by taping a sex scene with an unnamed actress playing   Anastasia Steele.

According to studio insiders, the tape may be an audition for both actor and director, as Van Sant hasn't officially signed on to head the project, either. In a recent People Magazine poll, Pettyer was one of three actors favored by readers to portray Grey on screen, the other two being Ryan Gosling and Chris Pine.
