As stated on their Facebook page, this Saturday, August 18th, starting at 10 pm the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office will be set up at "an undisclosed location" in Bossier Parish to conduct a sobriety checkpoint. This will go on into the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Thier goal is to "identify and remove impaired drivers from the road before they cause injury or death to themselves or others, as well as increase public awareness to the seriousness of driving while impaired."

Remember that you can report impaired drivers when you spot them on the road at any time. This is to support the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign. All you have to do is call 318-965-2203 to report the impaired drivers.
