Bristol’s Babies: Meet Lil Bit
Each week, Bristol's Babies shines the spotlight on adoptable pets right here in northwest Louisiana and with your help, we hope to eventually find them all homes!
Would you look at that ball of fluff?!?!? She just looks like she's ready cuddle and kiss you all over! Add in that ear cocked up like she's asking a question and Lil Bit will melt your heart on sight! Here's the good news, you can take Lil Bit to your house and love on each other all day, every day, because she's available for adoption through LA Baby Mommas!
Lil Bit seems an odd name for this sweet senior, but it is what she came with. This good-natured maltipoo/pomeranian mix came to us from the shelter in Marshall, TX, where she and her mother, Jolene, were surrendered after their owner passed away.
Lil Bit is around 10 years old and weighed in at 19 lbs when she arrived. She could barely walk, due to the extra weight she was carrying. She has been with LABM rescue for about 2 weeks now and is doing much better. She is actually beginning to trot.
Lil Bit is heartworm negative, up to date on shots and spayed. This sweet girl is always smiling, happy and ready to follow her human. She will make an excellent companion for a family with older children or couple/single who understand the importance of maintaining her diet.
Adoption fees for most pups/dogs through LA Baby Mommas start at $250, and include getting your new companion up to date on shots, deworming, a free wellness exam and either spay/neutering along with rabies vaccine by five months of age at Robinson Rescue in Shreveport, LA as needed.
Once LA Baby Mommas receives your adoption application, their board will review it and get back to you as soon as possible. Then, they require a nonrefundable deposit of $ 100 of the adoption fee to hold the pup/dog until placement.
