Byrd Soccer Banquet
I knew it would be emotional, but I promised myself I would not cry and I didn’t! My oldest son JW, just attended his final soccer banquet at Byrd High School and now he moves on to the next phase of his life. He was named MVP for the year and got to pass down these neon green/yellow gloves to one of the underclassmen on the team. He also started a new tradition and passed on his neck warmer he has worn on cold games. I remember when we bought that thing….it looked so goofy. But he has always been original and even though some guys might have teased him about it, he loved that neck warmer. Hope his items bring luck next year for the Jackets!!
