The Krewe of Akewa is holding their Grand Bal this evening at the Centaur Den and it's theme is 'Cajun Fairytales.' Captain Penny Zimmerman told us there would be lots of fun twists to your favorite children's stories and plenty of Cajun cousine.
Saturday morning, members of different area Mardi Gras krewes gathered at St. Pius X for the annual Mardi Gras Mass. The event was created by John Manno, a member of the Krewe of Gemini, more than 15 years ago.
