When news broke that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise had called it quits, many celeb-watchers weren’t terribly surprised. But while the impetus of the split is keeping the tabloids busy, statistics may tell a less-enticing story: this was Cruise’s third marriage, and they’re simply more likely to fail.
Following her high-profile divorce from Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes is about to learn what it’s like to be a single mom juggling a child, a career and a social life. And no, we haven’t turned into a gossip site. We’re actually talking about a new movie role.
With the exception of poor Katy Perry, everyone was a winner at the box office this week. Seriously. Of the top ten films, nine of them either opened well or held well, making this one of the most consistent weekends of the summer season. Filmmakers and studios: pat yourselves on the backs. You’ve earned this one.
Shame on us! We’ve featured every other hot guy who graces the screen with their abs in ‘Magic Mike’ (even the under-hyped Andrew Rodriguez) except for the master of ceremonies himself, Matthew McConaughey.
OK, I am going to see "Magic Mike" this Friday night with a bunch of my friends.
The old saying goes, “you can’t judge a book by its cover.” But you can judge these VHS covers as the worst of all time.
Channing Tatum's "bare-all" tribute to his former life "Magic Mike" hits theaters on Friday, but already there are former strippers that claim that they are the ones who inspired the events in the most titillating movie of the summer.
When you think of the 1989 movie ‘Parenthood,’ you probably immediately think of its star-studded cast made up of Steve Martin, Dianne Wiest, Mary Steenburgen and Rick Moranis, to name a few. But what about all their kids? They’re the ones that pretty much made the film great — for starters, just think of that infamous vomit scene.
Well, those kids aren’t children anymore.
Some seek out fame, while others are addicted to adrenaline and risk. No matter the reasons, stuntmen and stuntwomen have risked life and limb to give us thrills.
My attempts to break into the movie biz continue. Most recently, my on-air push to play the (yet uncast) President of The United in "White House Taken" starring Gerard Butler.
Though I'm not holding my breath waiting for the phone to ring, I am (at least thrice weekly) driving by the Teague Parkway in Bossier where a crew is building a White House replica for filming starting next month. In this action flick to be released in mid 2013, this Bossier White House is scheduled to be blown up! If I land the part, remind me to request a body double.
