Whew! And here I thought I would have to face life without a No. 4 Whatasized with bacon.

As a kid growing up in California, we didn't have Whataburger. Oh sure, we had In-N-Out with is deeeeelicoius, but I loved when we visited Texas and got to chow down on Whataburger. From breakfast until late hours hour of the night, Whataburger is a staple around these parts since 1950.

So why would someone say they are closing down?

Clicks. Sick humor. Attention. The list could go on and on. Needless to say, the fictitious article that could easily be filed under the "Fake News" category is just that... fake. Whataburger themselves have released a statement on social media to combat the rumors.

So rest easy, folks. The famous orange and white stripes are not going anywhere. I mean, where would we be without their juicy burgers, sweet-and-savory breakfast, and their social media puns?
