Funeral Set for Landrieu Campaign Worker Se’Destini Fields

Services are set for 23-year-old Se'Destini Fields, who died after being struck by a pick-up truck while canvassing neighborhoods on Election Day.

According to a news release from Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover's office, a public, closed-casket viewing will be held Friday, December 12, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home.

The memorial service begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Praise Temple Full Gospel Cathedral, located at 4725 Greenwood Road. Burial will follow at Forest Park West on Meriwether Rd.

A fundraising page has been established to help cover some of the funeral costs. Family, friends and co-workers are asking everyone to wear traces of pink, which was Se'Destini's favorite color.
