Shreveport's College Football Bowl Game, the Camping World Independence Bowl, will take place Monday December 26th at the historic Independence Bowl. This year will be a big one, since the game will be bringing and SEC team into SEC Country for only the second time since 2010.

This year's game will see Vanderbilt, from the SEC, take on NC State, who will be representing the ACC Conference.

Vanderbilt became bowl eligible in their final game of the regular season, by beating rival Tennessee. It's the first time since 2013 that the Commodores will be playing in a bowl game. This will also represent the first time that Vanderbilt will play in the Indy Bowl.

NC State is making their third consecutive bowl appearance, and 6th bowl game since 2010. NC State is another team the snagged bowl eligibility in their final regular season against their rival North Carolina. The Wolfpack have also never appeared in the I-Bowl.
