Is This T-shirt Offensive or Just Poor Judgement?
I don't know if I am becoming too sensitive to things now that I have become a parent, but I took my children bowling and we were having a great time laughing, dancing and cheering for each other for doing good.
We were in the middle of two birthday parties and had other families bowling as well.
I went to the snack bar for drinks for the kids and when I came back there was a group of guys that took a lane next to us. I really didn't pay attention to them and I heard a young girl ask her mom what the shirt meant.
I read the shirt and I listened for the answer the mom was going to give her. The mom came up with a good answer, She said, "He is just letting people know he is good when it comes to grilling."
Personally, I tried to keep my kids from noticing the shirt because I didn't want to have to explain the meaning to my 8-year-old daughter.
I have no problem with the shirt or him wearing it. The problem I have is the place he wore it. When you go somewhere in public and your shirt may cause parents to have to explain innuendos to their kids, change shirts.
