Local Ladies Headed for Ghana, But Need Shreveport-Bossier’s Help [AUDIO]

The Global Brigades Medical trip to Ghana is happening this summer for some local students.

Centenary graduate MK Orsulak, Junior Tia Landrum, along with Sophie Insley from Brittain are planning a trip to the African country later this summer.  But they need help from the local community to help pay for the trip and to bring much needed supplies to the area.

Medical Brigades works with licensed medical professionals and community health workers to provide comprehensive health services in rural communities with limited access to health care.  Each of our partner communities receive a brigade every 3 to 4 months where hundreds of patients are treated and volunteers deliver public health workshops.  If you can help with this special trip....DONATE HERE.
