Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles Now Accepting Credit Cards

Have you ever been in this situation?  You're in line at the OMV and you go to pay for your license renewal...but you don't have any cash! Well, that doesn't matter anymore because it's official! The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles will now be accepting debit and credit cards!

Swiping a credit or debit card, though, will cost a $1.25 convenience fee plus 1 percent of the total charge. Payment with an e-check includes a $1 convenience fee.
