Meet KVKI’s Latest Hump Day Hunk of the Week – Dennis Quaid [PICS]

By now, you may have forgot that Dennis Quaid spent time right here in Shreveport, LA when shooting the 2012 release Playing for Keeps with Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones and more!

This 62-year-old handsome hottie is from the Houston, TX area and grew up the son of an electrician and real estate agent. Quaid was raised Baptist and studied dance, drama and Mandarin Chinese if you can believe that. In addition to being a triple threat (Quaid sings as well) he's a licensed pilot and is a five handicap golfer. But on to his acting career... He went to the University of Houston before dropping out and heading to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career with his brother Randy Quaid.

Quaid's first role that got him was attention was back in 1979 with Breaking Away. There have been several Mrs. Quaids... the current Kimberly Buffington Quaid, Meg Ryan and P.J. Soles.
