It just wasn't the day for this would be carjacker.

Tihisha Jones was caught on video as she fought off a man who was trying to steal her car.

I just kept hitting him, saying, ‘You was trying to steal my car. Like, really, are you serious?'

Jones was headed to bring her 5-year-old son to school when the little boy noticed someone was in the vehicle. She said she could see someone bent over in her vehicle and after that, she "blacked out" and "went into a rage."

Director/Filmmaker Katie Mack heard the action from the apartment above the street and caught it all on video.

When I looked out the window, I saw the woman pulling the guy out of her truck, throwing him to the floor and beating him.

Not only did Jones beat the man, but she sat on him until police arrived. Authorities then placed 19-year-old Bernardino Santiago under arrest.

Jones said her car had been vandalized twice within as many weeks and she simply wasn't having it.

I saved to get that car, myself. I’m a single parent. I saved to get that. I just had enough. It’s time to fight back. I don’t think this is fair for people to work hard for your things, for people to take your things away

She also said that despite her heart condition, her adrenaline is what allowed her to act so swiftly and strongly toward the man to avoid becoming a victim.

To anyone else trying to test Tahisha Jones: You may want to think twice.
