Tonight is supposed to be Harry Potter night at the Shreveport Mudbugs, but there's a little wrinkle in that plan.  Apparently the production company got word of the promotion and sent a cease and desist letter to the The Mudbugs informing the hockey club they could not use Harry Potter to promote the game.

So instead of being Harry Potter night, it's going to be Wizard Night with the Mudbugs.  But the jokes are flying. People are saying it's Parry Hotter night.

Warner Brothers is very protective of the brand and they apparently have people who troll the social media sites looking for use of the Harry Potter name or logo without permission.

Warner Bros. has been cracking down on local Harry Potter fan festivals and other events around the country, saying it's necessary to halt unauthorized commercial activity. Those festivals are now changing the names focusing on celebrations of magic or wizardry.
