[UPDATE] A Minden man has been arrested after crashing an airplane authorities say he took without permission.

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers tell KSLA-TV that 30-year-old Nathan Henley told the plane's owner he was going to wash the aircraft before a scheduled flight class, but instead took it on a joyride. He's charged with unauthorized use of an aircraft.

[ORIGINAL STORY]  Two people are uninjured after a small plane crashed early this morning in east Texas.

Authorities tell the Marshall News Messenger that the aircraft went down north of Waskom at around 4 this morning when it apparently ran out of fuel.

The plane had left Harrison County Airport near Marshall, flew to adjacent Gregg County, and was headed back to Marshall when it crashed.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating. A call placed to the agency has not been returned yet, but we'll have additional details as we get them.

We have found out that one of the people on the plane is the youngest daughter of well-known local musician Robin Vosbury. According to his Facebook page, Taylor is fine, just a little scared.
