Nothing Says “Merry Christmas” Like Guns And Explosions- Anne’s Top 5 Holiday Action Movies
Everyone has their favorite Holiday movie list. And I bet everyone's list is almost the just same. They include A Christmas Story, Miracle On 34th Street, It's A Wonderful Life and so on and so on. But here is my top five OTHER favorite movies to watch this holiday season, most are not suited for children, but we already watch all those Christmas movies with the kids anyway. The list is for us “Adults”. Enjoy!
This is one butt kicking Christmas movie and it is awesome, talk about one Office Christmas party that turned serious! Terrific action and lot's of fun and yes it is set during the holidays! Yippy Ki Aye!
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vaction
What’s Christmas without the Griswold? Chevy Chase is awesome as Clark Griswold, this time forced to spend the holidays with his in-laws. Chase does some of his finest work, but “Best in Show” belongs to Randy Quaid’s Cousin Eddie, “I had to have the metal plate in my head replaced, because every time Catherine revved up the microwave, I’d pee my pants and forget who I was for about half an hour or so,” tells Clark.
Danny Glover is “Too old for this uhhh stuff.” But that didn't stop them from making 3 sequels to this brilliant action comedy. That's right, I said brilliant. The final fight scene between Gary Busey and Mel Gibson is the greatest reminder that it's the holidays you will find.
Behind Enemy Lines
A Navy navigator is shot down over enemy territory and is ruthlessly pursued by a secret police enforcer and the opposing troops. Meanwhile his commanding officer goes against orders in an attempt to rescue him. Now that's what I call Christmas Spirit!
After assuming his dead cellmate's identity to get with his girlfriend, an ex-con finds himself the reluctant participant in a casino heist. Nothing says “Merry Christmas” quite like robbing a casino!
