One Last Look at the Best Dogs In Shreveport and Bossier City [PHOTO GALLERY]

In honor of all the contestants in our Man's Best Friend dog photo contest, we decided to showcase each and every local dog in a single photo gallery.

Thanks to everyone who submitted a great picture of their dog, voted each and every day and helped spread the word about how we wanted to see the very best dogs in the Shreveport-Bossier area. Your enthusiasm and support for the little -- and not so little -- companions was amazing!

We started off more than a month ago and received more than 150 photos from proud parents proud of pooches. The first round of voting narrowed it down to the top 20, and after a final tabulation we announced the 'Man's Best Friend' winner: Maltipoo Sadie and her happy owner Phyllis Wilkins.

So, thanks once again to all of our entrants, and get those new pictures ready because 'Man's Best Friend II' will be here before you know it!
