    This Saturday is the rescheduled date for the Bossier Night Market in the parking lot on the south side of the Pierre Bossier Mall. Both admission and parking are free and the event will run from 4-9pm featuring 200+ vendors, twinkle lights, kids activities and some of the area's best food trucks!

    Bayou Bodcau Hunting and Fishing Day

    Head to Bayou Bodcau Dam and Reservoir this Saturday from 9am - 2pm to celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day. This 39 year old festival is free and open to the public and features a youth squirrel hunting tournament, shooting sports, demonstrations, food and too much to list here.     Head to Benton's Willie Waggoner Memorial Arena this Friday and Saturday for the 9th Annual Ray Forcier Memorial Rodeo! The event starts at 8pm both nights and will feature bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and more!

    Mission Possible 5/10K

    Lace up your running shoes and get ready to make strides for the Shreveport/Bossier Rescue Mission this Saturday morning starting at 8am at First Baptist Church Shreveport and run the Old Autumn Breeze Trail through the historic South Highland neighborhood. The race benefits the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission’s Life Recovery Program. Race day registration costs $40.
