Rob Dyrdek’s Shreveport Episode Airs Next Week

Local skateboarders can catch a glimpse of themselves in action next week when the long-awaited Shreveport episode of ``Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory’’ is shown on MTV. The program is set to air at 9:30 p.m. Monday, May 23. 

The professional skateboarder and host of the popular MTV show visited Shreveport in March to talk about the $50,000 makeover his foundation created at Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza. Hundreds of skateboard enthusiasts gathered to greet Dyrdek, who willingly posed for pictures and signed dozens of autographs. 

The City built the 12,500-square-foot-park five years ago. But Dyrdek later was disappointed with some of the suggestions he made and offered to renovate the park, using funding from his foundation.
