With this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on the books, plans are already underway for 2018.

The Hall has announced plans to return to Cleveland for next year's ceremony, which is set to be held April 14, 2018, at the city's Public Hall. This event, which marks the Hall's 33rd annual induction, continues its pattern of returning to Cleveland every three years; it was most recently held there in 2015, and previously in 2012 and 2009.

In addition to the ceremony, a press release promises "a series of events" surrounding the induction. Attendees can expect a community celebration including free admission to the Rock Hall and a dedication for the 2018 inductee exhibit, as well as "other rock-and-roll-themed events and activities at the Rock Hall and throughout the city."

The Rock Hall's 2018 scheduling goes public days before the 2017 ceremony is set to make its broadcast debut. As with past ceremonies, this year's event is being aired exclusively by HBO, where it's scheduled to premiere April 29 at 8PM ET/PT. Those who don't have HBO — or simply prefer the audio experience — can tune in to SiriusXM's broadcast via the network's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Radio and Classic Vinyl stations.

For those in the Cleveland area, the Rock Hall is currently hosting a special exhibit dedicated to this year's inductees — a roster that includes ELO, Journey and Yes. That display is scheduled to remain open through late winter 2018; you can check out details at the Rock Hall's official site.
