The Shreveport Farmers’ Market is Bustling

More than 100 vendors have signed up for the Shreveport Farmer's Market, which is now one of the largest farmers' markets in all of Louisiana. Located under the pavilion at Festival Plaza in Downtown Shreveport, it's worth a visit whether you're a health nut or just looking for some quality outdoor time.

As a covered market with ceiling fans for the hottest days, the event place rain or shine and only closes when there is a major weather warning issued by the National Weather Service. Market days feature live music, a variety of demonstrations and some of the best and freshest foods you'll ever find.
