Shreveport police detectives are looking for the suspects who reportedly shot up a house in east Shreveport late Saturday night.Here is an update from police:
Shreveport Police Violent Crime detectives have gathered more information about the shooting in the 2400 block of Highland Avenue. We believe the shooting was not a random act of violence. Rather, an earlier disagreement between the victim and the suspect which triggered the shooting. There were people in the residence at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured. Investigators are working at this hour to locate the suspect that committed this crime. Just before 8:30 p.m. on February 28, 2015, patrol officers were called to a residence in the 2400 block of Highland Avenue on reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, it was learned an unknown male suspect fired several shots at a home before fleeing the scene in a light colored 4-door vehicle.

Shreveport Violent Crimes detectives along with crime scene personnel were called to the scene. After further investigation, authorities gathered evidence and information suggesting a light colored four door sedan occupied by numerous individuals drove by a residence in the 2400 block of Highland Avenue, shooting multiple times toward the house, then fled the scene. At this time, investigators are working to identity and apprehend the individuals responsible for this crime. Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about this crime are urged to call Shreveport- Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org.
