Shreveporter Cara Watson Makes it to the Group Round on “American Idol”
Cara Watson of Shreveport has made it to the group round on “American Idol.”
The Caddo Magnet High School graduate will be singing in a group of four. One of the ladies in her group has already been causing trouble and left her original group to find new teammates. I am sure we will see Cara’s group on the show tonight.
Cara is such a talented young woman. We had the privilege of having her as a guest on our show last year when she was starring in a production of The Academy of Children’s Theatre. She gave us a little taste of her talent and we could tell right then that she would have a bright future.
Watson auditioned for “American Idol” in Atlanta and made it to Hollywood. Some 100 contestants were cut last night, but Watson moved on. We wish her all the best!
