‘Spooktacular’ Fun Run Planned

The Northwestern State University Elementary Lab School Running Club will host the third annual Spooktacular 1-mile Fun Run/5K Run Saturday, Oct. 29 on the Northwestern State campus in Natchitoches.  Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m.  The 1-mile race will begin at 8:15 a.m.  The 5K race will begin at 8:45 a.m. 

Pre-registration is $10 for the 1-mile run and $15 for the 5K race.  Pre-registration forms will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 21.  Race day registration will be $15 for the 1-mile and $20 for the 5K. 

Proceeds from the race will help support the NSU E-Lab Running Club.  In the spirit of Halloween, participants are encouraged to wear festive hats.  Prizes will be awarded in several age categories.
