‘Stifler’s Outtake’ – a Random Song about Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches
So sometimes we like to practice what we're going to say on the radio. Occasionally we'll listen back to see how everything sounds. Well, I kind of forgot I was recording and started working on other things in the studio and started singing a song about peanut butter and jelly. Why? I don't know.
Anyway so here's what I was thinking as this happened. I start my break like normal then I do a sound check on my music. Only it's SUPER loud. So I know I'm going to start over. So I start browsing our website and start singing along with the song absent mindedly. Then after the page loads I notice I am singing and get closer to the microphone to hear myself better while I pull up a new tab on the computer. I, in my mind nail the musical break, and laugh, then I really start getting into the groove of the music.
Finally the music bed stops ... and I notice I was recording the entire time. Honestly, it's embarrassing but too silly to just delete.
Anyway, just thought I'd share some inside the studio stuff.
