The 3rd annual 'Battle of the Badges' softball tournament, that benefits the local Minden St. Jude Children's Hospital Auction , will be held at the Minden Recreation Complex tonight at 6:30 pm.

Last week, I asked for prayers as Emma went to St. Jude for her regular checkup. For the first time in 2 years, she didn’t come home with good news. In fact, she and her dad are heading back up there in a few days to confirm that the doctors believe her tumor has gone from a Stage 1 to a Stage 4 in 3 months...
