So my wife has been out of town this past week at a baby shower, so it has just been my son and me being the bachelors. What is funny is that I think my family thinks it was all play time.  I have been posting picture to my family and friends showing my son at a birthday, on slides, eating cotton candy, ice cream and wearing my boots. So I am talking to my Mom who mentions that it looks like it has been a week of partying.

What is funny, even as a parent, I still feel the need to tell my parents that I really didn't get into trouble...LOL.

I am the kind of parent who believes in reward for good behavior and punish the bad behavior. (Seems pretty normal, right? Not so much if you go out West...another story for another day.) I set goals for him all week and he has done exactly what he was expected.  He ate all his dinner on Wednesday night and cleaned up his room, so he got a push-up ice cream. He was a big boy on Friday night, when I took him to dinner with some friends of mine, so he got cotton candy (only half the size they normally sell).  He went to a birthday party on Saturday (hence the cake).

See, even now I justify what I did...LOL

Sigh, so much for posting picture on Facebook.
