The New Dad Blog Of The Day-The Breast Pump

I am a bargain hunter and I am all about finding a great deal. But I had no idea where to start on this one.  My wife has been looking for one and finally found one.

The Breast Pump.

I never thought in my entire life that I would be helping her look for a "great deal" on a breast pump. That isn't a bad thing. It is just not something I thought I would do.

We have looked on Ebay, a large variety of stores, Craigslist, you name it. Well, we finally found one and I don't think my wife has ever been happier. Not only was it a name-brand (I had no idea that name brands made a difference in this area), but it also was at a great price. THAT I understand.

Now we are set to not only give the baby her mother's milk, but we will save a TON of money on formula.

This also is a wonderful thing for my wife on a second front. During my wife's first pregnancy, her milk didn't come in for a variety of reasons (stress being the biggest reason). My wife and our son are inseparable, I know it is a closeness, and a bonding experience, that my wife wishes she had been able to give our son. That reason alone makes it all worthwhile.
