The 2012 Olympics Are Coming July 27-Aug 12

So the Olympics are coming this summer in July and August in London. I think I am one of the few people who truly enjoys watching the Basketball games and the Volleyball tournaments. Seeing Misty Mae Treanor and Keri Walsh take the Gold in Volleyball was amazing to watch. Those 2 women worked harder than I think any beach tournament I have ever seen.And this year, you will see Keri Walsh back on the Beach sand with the Team USA Beach Volley Ball team.
Then there is Baseball, in the past, the USA has always had their “Dream Team”. It will be very interesting to see LaBron James, Lamar Odom, Dwayne Wade and LaMarcus Aldridge (to name a few) on the same team. To say we aren’t messing around this year, is to put it mildly. What is great about the USA Dream Team, all other countries want to plays us and they are just fine with losing against us.
That, my friends is Exceptionalism.
I know it is early, but please join me in making sure we support Team USA. They have worked hard to get to London and they deserve our support. Not to mention, our country needs something uplifting and something of which to be proud, regardless of the sport.
