Summer doesn't officially arrive until Sunday, June 21, but we don't really care because school is out and its summer time!

It's time to lay out by the pool, get to tanning, ridin' with the windows down (all right, ridin' with the air conditioner on high is more like it!), heading to the theme parks and doing summer type of things.

This summer's also going to be filled with a ton of great memories with friends and family. And there's always one song that rises above all the rest that defines the summer.

What song do you think that will be?

Last year's song of the summer was "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea, and in 2013 it was Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I.'s "Blurred Lines" according to Billboard magazine.

Billboard ranks the songs according to radio airplay, and now includes streaming and sales figures to help come up with the song of the summer.

According to them, Taylor Swift is on track to have the song of the summer because she's sitting atop of the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard also feels like Maroon 5, Andy Grammer and Walk The Moon could walk away with the title this Labor Day.

Here's a look back at the past two songs of the summer!
