The Chain Restaurant We Need Here in Shreveport/Bossier?

I am a motorcyclist and one weekend I took a long ride from Bakersfield, CA to San Diego, CA.  On my way home, I ended up taking the long way home and ended up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, when my tummy started to grumble, so I stopped at BJ’s Brewhouse.

I sat down and fell in love with the food…Good Lord, was it good.  Deep Dish Pizza, Pasta with Chicken, kids meals (not that I needed them back in 2005), sandwiches…and the list goes on. HUGE TVs on the walls, all of them had sports…it was like the perfect place.

Then there is the one thing that no one should ever leave without trying…the PIZOOKIE!!!

Pizookie is a cookie that comes in Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter and (my personal fave Oreo-See the pic below).

As luck would have it, 5  months after that first meal (and the many subsequent meals since then), the opened one up in Bakersfield, CA, where I lived.

Thankfully, after my many moves, I have been able to find them just about anywhere I have gone, Phoenix and Dallas…but alas not in Shreveport/Bossier City.  I did find one in Tyler…which means I have to drive an hour and a half…and I have.

Now for you  beer lovers, they have their own microbrews. They even have a tour of beers, which is a sample of everything.

I am a HUGE fan of this place, if you couldn’t guess, I even have T-shirts from the Restaurant. The question is, how do we get BJ’s Brewhouse here in the SBC? Call, write and email. …please, and my tummy will thank you.
