32 Year Old Arrested for Enrolling in School as a 15 Year Old

This wasn't quite a real life 21 Jump Street or Billy Madison, but a woman in her 30's did try to go back to school. Her name is Michaelann Goodrich and she tried to enroll at Cairo-Durham High School in New York as Riley Madison, who she portrayed as a 15-year-old homeless girl.  She did attend a full day of class and even rode the bus before being discovered.

So far the school and authorities have no idea if mental illness played a role in her actions or what her motives might have been. WNYT reported that Goodrich already has a high school diploma, which only makes the story even stranger. With all the school shootings and other incidents around the country, many parents have been voicing their concerns wondering how this was allowed to happen.
