60+ Stores Already Pledging to Remain Closed During Thanksgiving

These stores are planning on locking their doors on Thanksgiving, which is just seven weeks away.

Don't blink! Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. I'm not trying to rush you through your Halloween season, but in less than two months we'll be gathering to stuff ourselves with food while telling others what we're thankful for. Many will be thankful for the sales they are about to receive.

I was starting to thing no store would dare remain closed on Black Friday Eve, but it turns out I'm wrong.

More than 60 chain stores across the nation have already pledged to remain closed on Thanksgiving, according to USA Today. The publication got their list from BestBlackFriday.com, which I've never heard of so you can take it with a grain of salt. I'd like to salute these stores for giving their employees a chance to spend Turkey Day with their families, instead of a bunch of angr... errr I mean, jolly holiday shoppers.
