Last week there was an Ozzy sighting in Lafayette where the Prince Of Darkness was filming an episode of his new reality show "Ozzy and Jack's World Detour" which airs on the History Channel.  (Jack's wife is from that area and still has family there.)

But Ozzy wasn't the only reality star to be spotted in Louisiana.  Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe of the History Channel's popular road show "American Pickers" recently made a stop in West Monroe where they picked through stuff in the late Pete Caldwell's barn.

Caldwell's children had submitted an application to the show explaining that their father had collected everything from old barbers' chairs to vintage toys and gambling machines. Their application was accepted and Frank and Mike were on their way to West Monroe.

Kaye Caldwell McBride says that filming was totally unscripted with the show's hosts digging over and under her father's collection.  Frank and Mike were able to find some buried treasure in the old barn and paid for about 30 items by the time filming stopped.

The episode aired last night, but you can stream it live at history.com.
