Caddo patrol deputies responded to a call just after 3AM at the 4300 block of Roy Road in Blanchard where apartment residents reported cash and prescription drugs had been stolen from various parked cars.  After a search of the area, deputies caught a 13 year old boy as he ran from the area. Deputies then arrested 3 other suspects on Hilry Huckaby Avenue in Shreveport.

During the investigation, 2 handguns, a rifle, and a 2020 Dodge Charger that was reported stolen were recovered by deputies.  The car was used as the vehicle driven to commit the burglaries. Sheriff Prator said all of the cars that were burglarized had been left unlocked.

"I'm proud of the great work our deputies are doing in catching these thieves, but we need your help," Prator said. "Lock your cars and don't keep guns or valuables in your vehicles. Install surveillance cameras and be a nosey neighbor. Pay attention!"

The juveniles were booked into the Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center, but the other 2 suspects, Lorenzo Oliver, 19, and Brandon Tyler, 19, were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.  They were booked under several charges each.
