Chimpanzee Discovery Days Rescheduled

If you had plans to spend time with your family at Chimp Haven's Discovery Days you'll have to make other plans for this weekend October, 20th. The weather has made it difficult for the scheduled day of fun to proceed. The good news is that there is already a day scheduled to make up for the lack of Chimpanzee watching according to a manager at Chimp Haven. "Unfortunately, a week of rain has caused unfavorable muddy conditions at the sanctuary so we will be canceling Chimpanzee Discovery Day, October 20. However, we are looking forward to celebrating fall and seeing everyone for our last Discovery Day of the season, November 17, 9 a.m. to noon," said Ashley Gordon the Communications and Regional Development Manager for Chimp Haven.

The good news is that come November you can still experience the magic of Chimpanzee Discovery Days, we hope that November is dry enough to make it possible to go out to Chimp Haven. Make plans for the rescheduled Chimpanzee Discovery Day on November 17, 2018.
