Cici’s Pizza Declares Bankruptcy

Another bankruptcy has been declared that may affect a restaurant favored by many families in Louisiana and across the country: CiCi's Pizza.

Over 300 restaurants stand to be affected by the declaration, as CiCi's operates 11 restaurants outright, and franchises to over 300 others, according to Bloomberg.

Currently, CiCi's has locations in Lake Charles, Alexandria, Shreveport, Slidell, New Orleans, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge.

According to the story, as of now, the company doesn't plan on shuttering any locations. I'm hoping that they can hang on and it doesn't come to that.
