Comedy Night to be Included At This Year’s Prize Fest

It's almost here, Prize Fest is just a few weeks away from taking over downtown Shreveport! This year, they are adding something new.

I've said it time and time again, Prize Fest is truly one of the premiere events of the Ark-La-Tex. Every year I head to downtown Shreveport to take it all in, and every year I leave asking the same question: How could Gregory Kallenberg and company possibly make this any bigger and/or better. And every single year, they answer that question by somehow outdoing the year before. There's truly nothing quite like Prize Fest, a week that includes the very best film-making, food, and music that our locals have to offer.

This year, they are adding to the festivities by hosting a comedy night. That's right, on top of seeing all the great films, eating the best food, and listening to the best music, you'll also have a night dedicated to enjoying a great laugh.

Comedy at the Prize is set for October 5th at 9:00 PM at the Lofts at 624 in downtown Shreveport. The event is family friendly and will feature several, very talented local comedians.
