According to WDSU6, dozens of contract workers at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans have tested positive for COVID-19.

Of the 275 employees part of a team performing renovations at the Superdome, 32 have tested positive, according to a statement issued by the facility. The workers are contracted through an LLC by the name of "Broadmoor".

According to the story from WDSU, the contractor, upon learning of the positive tests, sent the affected workers into isolation.

Work on the Superdome renovations continued through the state-wide shutdown, as the project was deemed "essential".
