As our loyal listeners know, Erin McCarty made a promise to Olympic trainer, chiropractor and nutritionist Dr. Jason Maggio: Go walking for at least 20 minutes three times a week. Well, Erin got off to a good start, but, as it does for so many of us, things got a little busy and she missed a few sessions. Well, yesterday was exercise day, but she was needing a little motivation to get up and going. And then a very special listener called.

That listener's name is Elizabeth Guest and she battles fibromyalgia and arthritis. And she told Erin that she'd meet her at Mall St. Vincent (with Dr. Maggio) for yesterday's walk.

Well, not only did Elizabeth show up rarin' to go, but wearing her new 'Team Erin' motivational t-shirt!

So, off they went...on what Jason calls a 20 minute 'burst walk', walking a minute at regular pace, then a minute as fast as you can, alternating for a total of 20 minutes. All three report it was an excellent workout! So, thanks to Jason for his supervision and Elizabeth for her motivation.
