There are many recipes that we all pass down from generation to generation. Most people prefer to write down the recipes on a piece of paper or save in on a word doc. Some folks prefer to do something completely unique. By some people I mean my Glammy, she is always super extra in the best of ways.

My Glammy had a genius idea, why not make her great-grandmas famous Tea Cookies and give us all the recipe so just like her, we can make them for many years to come. If you have a family recipe that everyone loves, why not share that recipe with them in a unique way?

If you want to do what she did with the platter, just write or doodle on dinnerware with a Sharpie marker and bake it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and the design will stay permanently. Don't put the dish in the dishwasher, make sure you handwash it.
