Meet Cory Ryan, Co-Host of the New Cory and Elizabeth in the Morning Show

Hi, I'm Cory Ryan and it's going to be a blast working with Elizabeth on the new KVKI morning show.

I was born and raised right here in Shreveport, Louisiana. From the time I was old enough to walk, I have been in a radio station. I grew up watching my father, "Loveable" Larry Ryan, do radio the way it was supposed to be done on 710 KEEL. Suffice to say, radio is in my blood.

The day I turned 15 I got a car and a job at 937 KMBQ spinning Casey Kasem’s American top 40 and Rick Dee’s top 40 countdown. That was back when it was actually an album.

After those shows were over, I walked next door and did a live shift on 710 KEEL. I actually worked for 96.5 KVKI in the mid 90’s and never thought I would be back as one of the morning show hosts.

On a personal note, I have two beautiful daughters: Reagan (10) and Abigail (7) that are the loves of my life. I also have two former step kids, Kloee and Drew, and I try to remain an active part of their lives.

I’m an avid golfer, practice CHA 3 Kenpo Karate/mixed martial arts and love to hunt and fish — all the things people in the South enjoy.
