The Shreveport Mudbugs put on a show for the sold-out crowd Saturday.

The 'Bugs were back in town this weekend to take on the division leading Amarillo Bulls. This team is tough to beat, as the boys learned Friday night. The Bulls dominated Shreveport from start to finish Friday night, and Saturday night looked to be more of the same.

Going into the third period, the Mudbugs trailed Amarillo 3-1. That would be like a football game with a 42-17 score in the 4th quarter. Something sparked the Mudbugs in the third period, and in regulation they mounted one of their most impressive comebacks and won the game 4-3 after scoring the eventual game-winner as time was winding down.

It was truly a magical night in George's Pond.

Don't miss the action when the Mudbugs hit Shreveport ice again on February 7th and 8th!
