Number One Way To Find Out If Your Significant Other Is Cheating According To Experts
In 2017 a General Social Survey was conducted in conjunction with the Institute for Family Studies to find out who cheats while married. Is it mostly men or women? How often? What's the percentage of married people who cheat? The data is startling. As we only scratch the surface of the research, keep in mind, the data is taken from only the people who admitted infidelity. In reality, the percentage of married people who cheat is probably higher.
Of the pages and pages of data, let's focus on one area, the percentages of people who cheat. The 2017 research found that 20% of men and 13% of women have had sex with someone other than their spouse. The reality is this, if you are married and reading this, the chances of you having a cheating spouse is higher than you might think.
So how do you know if your spouse is cheating? Do you smell his/her clothes for a foreign perfume or cologne? Do you check social media accounts? What is a surefire way to learn if your significant other is cheating.
The experts say the number one way to catch a cheater is to send your significant other a gift with no card, note or explanation attached. If they tell you about it, your relationship is probably safe. It they don't say anything to you about it, there is a very good chance your significant other is cheating or at least hiding something.
Researchers also remind couples to not fall into the trap of thinking everything is fine. If your gut is telling you something isn't right, investigate. Open your eyes and realize denial could lead to divorce. If you do have a cheating spouse or significant other, getting help from a board certified specialist could save your marriage or relationship.
