The lane closure will only allow vehicles 12 feet wide and smaller to pass through to Spring Street. No traffic will be able to pass through the ramp closure. The detour is Spring St. to Texas St. to Market St.
Thursday, June 23
One lane of the Spring Street bridge over Cross Bayou, about half-a-mile north of Texas Street, will be closed from 9 a.m. until noon. Only vehicles 14 feet wide or smaller will be able to pass through the inspection zone.
One lane of the Market Street bridge over Cross Bayou will be closed from noon until 3 p.m.
All of this work will be done weather permitting. We'll let you know if anything changes as we closer to when the work is scheduled to take place.
