The New Orleans Saints have been without one of their best players, Michael Thomas, for some time now as he has been dealing with injuries and other holdouts. The star receiver is back at practice, which provides a positive reason for him to play this Sunday.

The news was posted to Twitter by @AdamSchefter and you can see the post below

The return of Michael Thomas to the practice field is some of the best news the New Orleans Saints could have had as they prepare for their Sunday matchup with the Chicago Bears.

Drew Brees and the Saints' offense continues to deal with issues pertaining to their weapons on the outside, as Emmanuel Sanders is currently out and recovering from COVID-19. He will miss this Sunday's game.

The Saints also had a young receiver step up recently in Marquez Callaway, who is nursing an able injury after his breakout performance in the last Saints' game. Check out the entire injury report for the Saints here.

The question on everyone's mind is all surrounding Michael Thomas' impact upon returning to the gridiron. Will he be able to perform at his usual rate, or will the recent lower leg injury force him to take things slow?

All I know is that the 'Who Dat Nation' is elated to see Brees' number one target back at practice.
