Salvation Army to Hold “Purses For a Purpose” Luncheon and Fundraiser

Every woman knows an outfit's just not complete without that perfect purse and no one would ever think of going out without her favorite hand bag.  And now, The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is breathing new life into gently used bags by having a purse auction.It’s called “Purses for a Purpose” and all the proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army Shreveport-Bossier.

Coach, Prada and Vera Bradley are just some of the famous brands up for auction. Attendees can also walk away with more than just a new designer bag! Some of the purses will have surprises inside them thanks to donations from corporate sponsors.

The event is coming up Saturday, November 2nd at The Salvation Army at 200 East Stoner Avenue in Shreveport.  You’ll enjoy lunch and the purse auction from 11:30am til 1:30pm.

Tickets are just $5 and available only at the door.
