Santa made it to town! Santa traded out his reindeer for a fleet of Shreveport Police Department vehicles along with the Shreveport Fire Department's big red truck. The fleet made their way to the Townsquare Media Offices in Shreveport. Several lucky students were able to greet Santa and they even toured Santa's workshop where they all received a thoughtful gift from Santa. Today was the kickoff for Operation Santa Claus. Operation Santa Claus is a combined humanitarian effort between the Shreveport Fire department, Shreveport Police department and Townsquare Media. The goal is to bring smiles to local underprivileged children through new toys for Christmas.

The toy drive is made possible through donations from people like you who donate new, unwrapped toys or monetary donations. The toy drive run through December 15th.
