Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, returns to the Shreveport Convention Center this August. The dates for the show are August 19-21, 2022.

The guests for 2022 include Scream stars Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy, and Skeet Ulrich, along with sci-fi megastar Natasha Henstridge,  horror icon John Kassir, Twin Peaks star Sherilyn Fenn, and AEW stars Darby Allin, and Danhausen. Plus a ton more.

There have also been a ton of comic book creators added to the lineup for 2022. Including the creator of X-Men member Rogue Michael Golden, Marvel's Zombie King Arthur Suydam, and Geek'd Con fan favorite Roland Paris, among others.

But the comic book fun doesn't end there. Geek'd Con has partnered with Scout Comics for 2022. Part of this sweet partnership will be an exclusive Geek'd Con variant cover for one of Scout Comics' top titles, Stabbity Bunny.

This variant cover will be one of Scout Comics' "VHS Variants", where they design the cover to look like a VHS tape from back in the day. Like a 90s cartoon or an 80s horror movie. These "VHS Variants" can be highly sought after, and the Geek'd Con variant is the first time that the Stabbity Bunny title has received the treatment.

In addition to this great cover from Scout Comics, there will also be multiple Scout Comics creators at the event too. Here's a quick look at who's coming:

Geek'd Con is welcoming Scout Comics Executive Vice President Richard Rivera to Shreveport.

In 2014, Richard began creating independent comics using some of the scripts he had written over decades. He self-published Stabbity Bunny, with artwork by Dwayne Biddix, in 2015. This series was soon followed by Wild Bull and Chipper, Storm Pirates, Shadow Play, and Create-A-Comic.
After all the titles were added to Scout Comics and Entertainment’s lineup, Richard created another series, Stabbity Ever After. He is the head of the Scout Comics all-ages division, Scoot! Comics. This rapidly growing imprint specializes in kid-friendly publications and merchandise.
Richard has also been involved in the production, design and editing of numerous Scout and Scoot! Titles.

Scout Comics Editorial Director, and writer, Andrea Lorenzo Molinari, Ph.D. is also coming to Shreveport!

Andrea is co-writer/co-creator of The Shepherd, an OGN series with Scout Comics. Molinari serves as editorial director for Scout Comics, and works with many creative teams from around the world.

He has worked as both submissions editor and project editor for Caliber Comics, as an editor for Amigo Comics (Málaga, Spain), and has edited books published by Action Lab Entertainment, Behemoth, and the Canadian publisher Lev Gleason's New Friday Comics.

Also appearing will be artist Jon Clark and writer Drew Ferguson.

Jon Clark is a comic book artist, writer, and filmmaker. Currently clawing through the comic book stands is his latest tale of darkness, PLAYTHINGS. A recent best-selling title from Black Caravan/Scout is BLACK FRIDAY, as ominous as it sounds, and the twisted tale SOMETHING JUICY is about to hit the stands.

Drew Ferguson has been chained to his keyboard writing things like SAM AND HIS TALKING GUN, and a ton of other stuff that he isn't allowed to tell you about yet.

You can get your tickets to meet the Scout Comics team at Geek'd Con right here.
